DIY Driftwood Candles

First off, I hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving! Next, I’m really excited to share with you guys this great and inexpensive project that is perfect for your dining room table! Over the summer I found these great pieces of driftwood on the beach in Montauk and I decided to do something creative with them! Hence, our newest centerpiece in our dining room –Β our driftwood candleholder!

Β The whole project cost me around $4 to make. All I had to purchase was beading wire and tea light candles to finish off the project!

What You’ll Need:

Driftwood
Glue Gun
Beading Wire
Candles

The Steps:

1. Play around with your pieces of driftwood to find a design that works for you.

2. Glue the pieces together with your glue gun to hold them in place.

3. Break thinner pieces of driftwood into small pieces to glue together to create bases for your candles.

4. Wrap the ends of the bases with your wiring to add some flare.

5. Glue the bases to your candleholder.
Β
6. Place your candles on top and enjoy!Super easy, right!?

You can paint your driftwood to give it some extra flare! Don’t be afraid to use bold and daring colors at the dinner table!

I hope you guys enjoy this project! It’s super easy to do but it gives your home a whole new look!
