Of all of the spaces that make an impact in a house, an entryway is arguably one of the biggest. Unfortunately, our entryway was… well non-existent. And, since I couldn’t open up any walls (who needs stairs to get to the second floor anyway?), I had to get really creative with the space. So, I partnered up with my friends at DAP Products to give our cozy house a small entryway makeover. Here’s how it went!
Our bathroom remodel in our NEW HOUSE is well underway now that we only have a few weeks until we move in (cue the panic)! A few weekends ago, I published a full demo video on my YouTube channel and today I’m spilling the details on the plans for this project as well as the process of tiling our small bathroom floor with large format tiles!
When I made over my dad’s home office & mudroom space I created a fun bucket-list geometric accent wall behind the mudroom storage bench. I thought that might scratch my accent wall dreams, but it just fueled my fire to want to create one in my own house someday… then we got a house! Now, finally, all of those years of sneakily checking out modern geometric accent walls on Pinterest have finally paid off, and I can’t wait to share my own version with you!
If you missed the announcement on my Instagram page… my other half is opening his own bike shop! So, I’ve been hard at work over the past three months transforming the retail space and helping his small business owner dreams come true! I am especially pumped today, cause I can finally share a fun project that we did in the space — a giant DIY Faux Brick Accent Wall! This was a crazy big project, and I had a lot of help. But, the concept was super simple and made a huge impact! Here’s how I did it!
