After 3 YEARS of working, building, and basically living in this shed workshop, it was FINALLY time to give it a solid makeover and I am SO EXCITED to be able to share the reveal with you today! These past three years in this 12 x 12 space have been so incredible. I have grown so much in this space (and, let’s be real so has my tool collection), and I have been bursting at the seems. So, naturally it was time to give this space some love and a solid refresh. I gave this shed workshop the makeover I have been wanting to for years… and I am stoked to finally spill the beans on this renovation with all of you! Let’s get started!
Can you believe that it has been 3 years since my dad and I built my shed-shop!? The past 3 years have been so amazing in this little 12 x 12 workshop, but it was finally time to give it the love that it deserves! When we built the shop, it matched the existing siding color on my parents’ home. But, since then, they’ve replaced the siding to add a beautiful grey color… needless to say the shop started to stick out like a sore thumb. So, I decided to paint it! Painting a shed is a super easy process, and it made a huge impact on the entire yard! So, here’s how I painted the shed!
I recently got a chance to renovate my parent’s guest room and turn it into a combination guest space and home office for my mom. But, with work from home culture still going strong, my dad was feeling a bit bummed that his space was so cluttered. So, to help him out I tackled a DIY mudroom & home office makeover to give him a space to work too! Here’s how I made it happen!
My shed-shop makeover feels like it’s taking an eternity to get through, but I’m finally making some more progress! Last time I shared an update it was for my brand new concrete accent well. Today, I’m tackling the flooring! I installed some waterproof vinyl plank flooring in my shop! This was my first time installing vinyl planks and I am seriously so floored (#punintended) with how it turned out!
