If you’ve been following along, you know that I recently renovated my parents’ unfinished basement with my dad. And, although I’m super happy with the way it turned out, the little nook in the back corner of the basement has been driving me insane. Living small means I am really good at turning wasted square footage into usable space, and that’s exactly what I did! I created a basement office space by building a DIY Floating Desk with Hidden Storage in that small nook. Even cooler, I partnered with my friends at DAP Products to show you how it was done. Ready to get started?
If there are two things I really love, it’s hexagon shaped woodworking projects and food. So, with Thanksgiving coming up around the corner, I decided to combine my love for both and create a trendy hexagon serving set for our next holiday gathering! Even cooler, I was able to stain them in their own coordinating and custom stain family with the help of HANDy Paint Products!
If you’ve been following along for a bit, you’ll know that I recently challenged myself to build a custom live edge dining table with welded legs for my family (spoiler alert, it turned out awesome). The only thing missing, however, was a custom bench to go along with the table. But, not anymore! I finally got around to making them a custom live edge bench with metal legs to match their table, and even cooler, my friends at The Home Depot helped make it happen. Here’s how!
To say I’m excited to share this build with you is the total understatement of the century. I have been wanting to build a live edge storage cabinet for the longest time and finally made it happen thanks to my friends at Build Something & Kreg! Here are all the details on my new favorite piece…
