Okay, I know what you’re thinking… “not another resin river table”! But, hear me out! This one is pretty epic… this one is different than my last river coffee table, because this one GLOWS IN THE DARK. Pretty cool, huh? I’ve been wanting to make a glow in the dark resin table ever since stumbling upon one on Pinterest and I am SO excited that I finally got to make it happen! Ready to see how?
I’ve been short on time since my full time job started up. But, having just completed some mega projects in my home there is one thing I am not short on… and that is scrap wood. I have been wanting to make a giant pegboard wall organizer for my work from home space for the longest time and have been drooling over them on Pinterest for ages. So, I finally decided to make it happen with the use of scrap wood! Did I mention it only took one day to make? Weekend warriors, get those tools ready!
With my full time job recently starting back up, I’ve been busy catching up on projects and adjusting to my world as a weekend warrior again! That being said, while this month’s Tuesday Tool School is a bit late (if you’re new here, I host a Tool School on the first Tuesday of each month), I promise I didn’t forget! Today I’ll be tackling the ins and outs of the differing types of nailers that you can use in your workshop. I’ll be breaking down the details in this Nail Gun 101 post and then demoing some of the nailers I use in my shop on Instagram (so, be sure to check it out)!
Ever since moving out of my parents’ house, they now have an extra bedroom that is being used as a catch-all for everything and anything. It’s basically one of those rooms that you throw things in when guests come over, close the door, and pretend the mess doesn’t exist (I know you know what I’m talking about). But, since schooling is going to be hybrid for many places fall, I wanted to transform this messy guest space into a combination home office and guest room for my mom, who is a physical therapist for children with disabilities. So, to get started on this transformation, I partnered up with my friends at Rockler to build the best space-saving guest room project on the planet… a DIY modern murphy bed!
