After a few months of working full time from home and staring at the custom fireplace I built every day, I decided it’s time to add a mantel! Talk about perfect timing for the holiday season, am I right? This build took me ONE WEEKEND to do and cost me under $100!
Hi, friends! Things have been a little hectic recently (I shared a bunch about this on YouTube), but I am SO happy to be back in action with a fun one-day friend-filled project! Last time we hung out on the blog, I had just wrapped up my small dining room makeover… and, this time, we’re focusing on the custom dining bench my friend Chris from Cow Dog Craft Works helped me build for the space! This was such a fun collab and I am so excited to share all of the details with you! So, let’s get started!
If you follow me on social media, you may know that I recently traveled north to Canada to visit my amazingly creative friend, DIY Danie! Danie has the most ADORABLE house and has been working on making over her backyard. So, I got on a plane to help her build a new DIY outdoor dining table in ONE DAY! We also created an outdoor coffee table in a day as well (so, be sure to check that out on her channel here)! Build are so much faster when you have a buddy!
I have been working on SO many project in this house! I’m all over the place, and I’m embracing it. Last time we checked in, I was working on the bathroom renovation in our house, but we hit a snag. So, while I wait for things to be delivered and fixed, I figured why not build a DIY Electric Fireplace & Entertainment Center for the house! It felt insanely good to get back to something I feel like I’m decently good at (woodworking)… and, the project turned out awesome!
