DIY Luxury Tiny Home on Wheels Part 2: Exterior

I am so excited for this van build. Last week I shared the demo portion of the project and now it’s time to officially start work on building this van out into the luxury tiny home of my dreams. Before I can get started on the interior and all of the design elements I’m excited about, I have to get the exterior situated. We’re talking a roof rack for solar panels, climate control, and a fan that will live on top of the van, and we're also adding window flares in the back. I am so ready to get this build going, let’s get started friends.

DIY Luxury Tiny Home on Wheels Part 1: Demo

As if one home wasn’t enough, I’ve decided to renovate a tiny home– on wheels! Yes you read that right, I’m turning a cargo van into a luxury apartment; complete with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, garage, and a kitchen/hangout spot. This is no small task and although it is a small space…only 64 square feet, I’ve only got 5 months to get it all done. Why such a rush? My other half is competing in the National Championships for cycling and this will be our ride and our home while he competes. This race is halfway across the country so we’re prioritizing comfort and of course bike storage. Here’s the plan and the demo process, there’s a ton to do so let’s get started friends!
