Every summer I tackle a big project while on vacation from my full time job. Last year I helped my dad renovate a room in my parents’ basement, and this year I finally finished the job fully by giving their basement laundry room a makeover! This project has been a year in the making and my mom couldn’t be more excited about her new space! Just wait until you see what this place looked like …
My grandparents’ deck has been in need of some love for a long time, and with nowhere to go right now, this felt like the perfect time to do it! I took a few days out of my schedule recently and decided to surprise them with a full-blown deck makeover along with my friends at The Home Depot and Olympic Stains. This project surprisingly only took me about two days of actual work, and the results were SO worth it… even cooler, I’m spilling all of the details on how I made it happen on The Home Depot blog!
I know you know this already, but Titan is my number one dude… and it’s been a while since I’ve made him something fun. So, I recently decided to build him a new dog bed with a storage drawer to hide all of his grooming supplies (he has a lot). Someone’s gotta keep this pupper looking sharp! I decided to get super fancy on this one, and make him a patterned plywood drawer front (because, why not), and I’m super stoked to show you how I made it all happen!
Warmer weather means it’s time for outdoor projects! Last summer I made a chevron table for my parents’ backyard, and it’s holding up so well. So, this year I decided to make a matching bench with a torched base! I don’t know what it is about chevron, but I’m clearly obsessed. Ready to see how I made this bench? Let’s get started!
