Hello, world! Hope everyone is doing well! If you’re like most other Earthlings right now, you’re probably practicing social distancing like you’re getting paid for it (well, if you working from home, you technically are)… Currently, since moving back in my with my parents for a bit, there are six of us humans working and/or schooling from home, which has made things a bit hectic. So, to help ease the burden of limited workspaces, I created the easiest DIY live edge desk in less than a full weekend with only TWO power tools. Check this thing out!
I’m currently in the process of helping my parents finish up their basement, and one thing they really needed was a storage cabinet for their laundry room. So, I’ve been super hard at work making a design we had planned into a reality. Even better, I was able to create this DIY Storage Cabinet come to life with the help of my friends at DAP Products!
As a woodworker, I have an ever-growing bucket list of projects I want to build at some point in my career… and at the top of that list is a resin river table. While resin river tables have been made time and time again, one thing I noticed was that many of these projects are made with industrial tools in big shops. So, I decided to challenge myself to create one using handheld power tools and accessories that can be found in my local home improvement store. Even cooler, to help make this happen, I partnered up with my amazing friends at Bernzomatic and got to work!
If you’ve been following along, you know that I recently renovated my parents’ unfinished basement with my dad. And, although I’m super happy with the way it turned out, the little nook in the back corner of the basement has been driving me insane. Living small means I am really good at turning wasted square footage into usable space, and that’s exactly what I did! I created a basement office space by building a DIY Floating Desk with Hidden Storage in that small nook. Even cooler, I partnered with my friends at DAP Products to show you how it was done.
