Easy DIY Crafts for the Holidays

Crafting is such an essential part of the holidays for me. Being able to make something to decorate for the season or handmaking gifts really gets me into the spirit of the season. If you’re looking for a crafting project for the holidays take a look at these projects I’ve enjoyed creating and I hope one of them can inspire you to make your own! All of the tools and materials you’ll need, as well as step by step instructions are listed in each project. Happy Crafty Holidays!!

1. Christmas Tree Gift Holder

Gift cards are such a great way to give to that really hard to buy for person on your list. But sometimes just handing over a gift card seems like it’s not the most fun thing to receive (even though we know it is, who doesn’t love to shop for their own present?!) So this Christmas Tree Gift Card Holder is a creative and simple way to spruce up a giftcard and brighten up the holidays. It requires minimal tools, time and materials!

2. DIY Pallet Wood Christmas Tree

If you don’t have a ton of space for a traditional christmas tree or if you’re looking for a new piece of decor this year, my Pallet Wood Christmas Tree should do the trick! You could even use it outside to decorate by your front door. It’s a great way to repurpose pallets and it’s a quick project, because who has a ton of time this time of year??

If you want to learn how I did it you can watch the video on YouTube!

3. DIY Wooden Holiday Gift Tags

I love personalizing gifts even down to how I wrap them, tags included! You can make these Wooden Holiday Gift Tags into any shape you’d like and you can really get creative with the design you choose to decorate on the tag. You could put the name of the person receiving the gift or give each person a different festive design to mark their gifts.

4. DIY Copper & Wood Menorah Candle Holder

I grew up celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas so I have to include this Copper and Wood Menorah with my other holiday crafts. It has a modern look and it certainly lights up the celebration. Menorahs are so special and a handmade one just makes it even more wonderful.

Take a look at the video to see how I did it!

Happy Crafty Holidays

I hope that you find something here that will make your holidays more creative, fun, and special for you and your loved ones. I love working on projects with my friends and family, it’s the best way to connect and spend time together. So whether you gift them one of these projects or your make some of them together I hope they help you have a very happy holiday season! Stay tuned for more holiday themed projects over the next few weeks! And as always, Happy DIYing friends!
